At C&F Bank, we offer several options to cover your account in case you should accidentally overdraw your checking account. Options will be discussed with you at account opening.
Save merchant charges by using Overdraft Privilege to cover your overdrafts so that your checks, debit card transactions, automatic payments and ATM withdrawals are paid.
You have the option to link your eligible C&F account to your primary checking account in the event of an item presented against non-sufficient funds. One transfer will be made at the end of each banking day to cover any items presented against non-sufficient funds. Transfer fees apply. Transaction limits and excess withdrawal fees apply to savings accounts.

¹The fee applies to overdrafts created by check, in-person withdrawals, ATM withdrawals, or other electronic means. Overdraft fees apply to transactions created by check, in-person withdrawal, internal transfer, or other electronic means. Overdraft fees will not be imposed on ATM withdrawals or one-time debit card items unless the account has opted-in. To remain in good standing, you must bring your account balance to a positive balance within every thirty (30) day period for a minimum period of 24 hours. We reserve the right to require you to pay an overdraft immediately or on demand.
