To our Customers and Communities:
The health and safety of our customers, as well as team members, remains our top priority for C&F Bank. As the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation evolves, we want to assure you that we are taking significant precautionary measures and adhering to recommendations from public health officials, as well as continuing to maintain our high standards of cleanliness. We actively maintain formal Emergency Response and Business Continuity Plans to serve and protect customers and employees against different types of threats, including health events such as COVID-19. The priorities of these plans are to (1) protect our customers, employees, and the communities we serve and (2) continue providing banking services without interruption to individuals, families, and businesses. Several weeks ago, we began assessing and adding to our plans as the potential for COVID-19 to develop into a widespread health threat grew.
Steps we're taking to protect customers and employees
Our branch network is here to serve you and we are working hard to make sure each is properly cleaned and sanitized daily, including working with our service providers to ensure they are taking additional steps in their cleaning processes to keep us all safe. All of our locations, except Newport News/City Center and Charlottesville Mall, offer drive thru services; click here for locations and hours of all C&F Bank locations.
We're also educating our employees on how to avoid contracting viruses such as COVID-19 and encouraging them to see their physician/stay at home if they believe they are ill. The key is to follow the advice of health resources, several of which I've listed below, and we are doing this.
We offer many ways for you to conduct your banking transactions
We are pleased to offer robust online and mobile banking services and here are links to help you with them if you're not already familiar:
Our Customer Support Team is available from 8am to 7pm Monday through Friday and from 9am to 12pm on Saturdays by calling 800.296.6246. Many of our customers also enjoy using our Telebank service, which is available 24/7 by calling 800.296.4968. It's always been important to us that we provide multiple options to conduct your banking business; we're happy to help you with any of these options if you've not used them before, simply call or stop by to see one of our representatives and we'll help you right away.
Need more information on COVID-19?
The Center for Disease Control (CDC) https://www.cdc.gov/ and Virginia Department of Health (VDH) http://www.vdh.virginia.gov/coronavirus are excellent resources and we encourage you to visit these for direction and advice on how to protect you and your family from COVID-19.
As always, thank you.
Good business relationships are founded upon trust and transparency and that's why I wanted to send you this update. I appreciate your loyalty to our bank and one way I can thank you is to be forthcoming when challenges like COVID-19 come along. I will always insist we keep your safety and financial well-being as priorities for our bank, and I promise to keep you posted on developments as we monitor this situation very closely. You can also look for updates on our response at cffc.com and our social sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
