May 17, 2021 Update

To our valued C&F Customers:

On Friday, May 14, 2021, Governor Ralph Northam lifted Virginia’s universal indoor mask policy to align with new guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

In accordance with this most recent guidance, C&F will no longer require FULLY VACCINATED C&F employees or visitors to our facilities to wear a mask except where required by federal, state, and local regulations. All C&F employees and visitors who are not fully vaccinated according to the CDC definition must continue to wear masks and follow social distancing protocols previously established. People are considered fully vaccinated 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine. We will not require proof of vaccination, but we ask for responsible and respectful cooperation with this revised policy. We continue to recommend that all employees and visitors, especially those who are at higher risk, wear a mask.

Governor Northam also announced that Virginia will ease all distancing and capacity restrictions Friday, May 28, two weeks earlier than planned. We will update our pandemic response policy to align with this additional anticipated guidance once announced by the Governor’ office.

While the pandemic and its effect on our communities persist, we’re incredibly grateful for the spirited effort of all C&F teammates and our customers throughout this great challenge. We thank you for patience, support, and courage as the outlook continues to brighten.

Sincerely,
